Heineken Manchester Brewery
For this project Heineken provided significant investment in its Manchester plant to improve facilities and increase production.
The project was split in to three phases; Phase 1, construction of a new fermentation vessel and a new yeast propagation vessel block with an interlinking bridge and associated external works; Phase 2, upgrade of Heineken’s existing facilities and Phase 3, removal of the Brewhouse’s redundant equipment, and the demolition and removal of the Brewhouse control room
Axis undertook the design and project management of the M&E services package, from inception in 2011, through to completion in 2014.
Axis have significant experience of designing and Project Managing M&E services within Brewery / Beverage sector projects. Many projects are within existing live production environments and we have full appreciation of the complexity of maintaining production whilst implementing new projects.
